taeyang is back with the official main track of his new single. and i thought where u at was good but taeyang still bested it with wedding dress. there is something with the tone and mood of this song which captivates you and make you ride an emotional roller coaster. this is a must for all to see.

the mv was well made. it was so sad. great concept. and great vocals. the mv reminded me of dbsk's doushite kimi wo suki ni natte shimattandarou but i don't really mind. i'm resisting myself to write some more but it would be really best to watch the video and be touched. go taeyang!

ok this is a hit. when i first heard of the song, i already knew it will be on the charts.

following fellow member dara's kiss, bom recently released you and i. and just like the predecessor, this one is another success for the group 2ne1. wow, they are surely adding more and more hits to their name.

you and i featured bom's vocal which is good. the song really soothes her, it's more on the emo side of things. no catching of breaths needed. and with the release of the mv recently, the song has no where to go but stay on top of the charts.

author's comment: i'm not really a fan of bom but this song is great. honestly, listening to the song makes me imagine bom's weird mouth structure which kind of irks me. but putting the fact that bom is the artist, i'm sure i'd love this more.

as i have said earlier, october is full of testosterone. wahahaha... here is another boy group which debuted this month.

this groups is quite weird. they started with the name b2st (boys to search the top) and named their album beast is the b2st. but then later on, they changed the group name to beast. i don't know the logic behind it now. but somehow, their logo can be read as both beast and b2st -- e and a was placed side by side and resembles a 2. cryptic. wahaha.

though the name is confusing, the talent is not. the group has familiar faces in it from past group fail-outs (sorry for the term but i just don't know another word), to past solo artist. meet the members below.

after having the courage to write blog entries once more, here is my present for you all. these may seem old but i have truly enjoyed these performances.

2ne1 has successfully promoted their singles in the past months. it all started with fire which got awards. then came i don't care which was equally successful. but right before they stopped promoting, these girls really didn't fail to surprise me.

they performed an unplugged version of i don't care. there was no dancing. they just sat there and it was priceless.

just when i thought they were exiting, they performed a new song. we have actually heard of pretty boy before, they sang bits of it in their debut stage but they sang it full this time. another powerful performance from 2ne1.

a week after, they finally bid their goodbye with yet another song, in the club. sultry performance. i don't know with you but these girls are giving me great performances. they must be crazy for singing a different song with a different choreo yet again. but this proved how great they were.

2ne1 hwaiting!!! i miss them already. T.T

Super Junior M's MV for Super Girl is finally out! It was released about a few hours ago!!!

My reaction when I saw this was OMG! ahahaha they looked soooo handsome! Nothing could go wrong if a guy wears a suit! kikiki ^^ Siwon no doubt was Super handsome! but what caught my eye in the video was Donghae and Hankyung (Hangeng), especially when he (Hankyung) transformed to the hot guy! :D ^^ The song is an upbeat one... but I noticed.. the dance steps they made looks little like the steps in Rainism.. not really exactly similar.. but there was a part.. but I don't care! Oh and so I don't forget to mention... Jessica of SNSD is in the video.. she looks really pretty too!

Hello everyone! I am breaking the hiatus! :D

Actually I was itching to do some blogging again as I haven't been blogging for a long time! We are truly sorry we haven't posted anything on this blog as our lives have been a little topsy turvy for the previous months. Like what Shiira said, we will try out very best to update our blog.

I’m sure most of you have heard about what happened to DBSK and SM entertainment. However I will not be posting anything about that news as it will make most of the Cassies sad. But from what I read in allkpop.com, the boys haven’t split up so girls don’t worry!!

SM Entertainment’s refutation, “They made 11b KRW after debut”

SM Entertainment, with which Dong Bang Shin Ki member Hero JaeJoong, Micky YooChun and Xiah JunSu has have a dispute with, came out to reveal their official stand.

SM Entertainment said on 3rd August, “Dong Bang Shin Ki has earn 11billion KRW from after their debut till 2009 July (dividend payout 9.2 billion KRW + beforehand provision 1.77 billion KRW). Also they also received many high-end foreign products in the process even though SM Entertainment was suffering from a business deficit in the 4 years after the group’s debut. And even though there is a distributive ratio, they would have raised it with proftis from their endorsement in CFs, doing events and also photoshoots.”

And about how the 3 members have said that they were given unjust treatment, SM Entertainment said, “About their health and schedule, we have discussed them before they were put through it.”

And about the cosmetic enterprise, SM said, “Looking at this case, this holds substantial reasons to it. It is evident since there is only 3 members involved in this case. They wanted to reduce the loss of image and harm to them as soon as possible with this plan as they will be used for the enterprise in terms of having their images used as part of marketing and also to participate in events for the enterprise.”

Also, “According to the Fair Trade commission, there is no provision saying that singers cannot be signed for beyond a period of 7 years, and there is no exceptional provision limiting the contract of singers promoting overseas. We did amendments to the exclusive rights clause for 5 times after the contract was contracted, 2 times were to address the compensation of loss, and after checking and confirmation by the Fair Trade Commission. The rest of the 3 times were to address the profits distribution ratio and for renewal – in 2004 January, then in 2007 February and 2009 February.”

SM “We will solve this case with the 3 members regarding the application for retractile in the contract and the lawsuit confrontation as soon as possible.”

The issue now has ballooned into something even bigger and its rearing its ugly head for everyone to see. The scene is really not nice to see and I don't want to think of what could be going on behind the scenes right now. My heart aches as I read about other people's(I don't want to think of them as their fans) thoughts saying really nasty things about Yunho and Changmin's silence between the ensuing legal battle between SM and JaeChunSu. I couldn't help really but feel depressed that some people are so desperate to make everything a little less confusing by pointing at Yunho and Changmin - blaming them for not taking part and what pains me really is that they even go to such length as to say that the reason why Homin is not taking part because they don't want to risk their career if things got worse. That if ever the worst of the lot did come to pass, at least the two of them would still have even something going for them since "we" all know that they're not exactly as talented as the other three and thus going solo doesn't bode well for them. When I read it, I don't know if I would get angry and start throwing things or cry out of frustration or froze out of shock. I just couldn't believe that some "fans" are thinking of that right now and even would start comparing the five of them and even labeling Yunho-especially Changmin- as ones who have the least going for them.

This whole issue is getting nastier and is breaking the red ocean apart. It is attacking at the very core of what we all call our great family, and eating away the foundation that we've built out of love for them. We love the band(aside from their great voices)not because we love Junsu's silliness or Jaejoong adorkable random self or Yoochun's sleazy sexy vibe or Yunho's powerful dance moves or Changmin's inhuman range pitches or UFO replies. We love them because they create such beautiful music together. It's a collective effort on all their part and all of them worked hard to create that music together, that atmosphere together for all of their fans. I think it's totally unfair how others try to break them apart by labeling some as "not equally talented" as opposed to the "really talented" members. We have all heard that despite the rumors, there's really no thoughts amongst them of disbanding and YET those so-called "fans" are the ones who are breaking them apart.

I'm feeling depressed right now and angry - as evidenced by the long post, I think the longest so far aside from the movie reviews - and I've never felt so helpless. Call me a crazy fangirl, of which I wouldn't even dream of denying, but I am one proud crazy fangirl who's got her admiration in the right place and aimed at the right people. I just hope that within Cassiopeia, BigEast and the international fans club as well, there would be no doubt of the solidarity we have at these hard times. Let us not weaken ourselves anymore than we already are. Lets always keep the faith going, no matter how hard it is, no matter how many times we feel like succumbing to the pressure. Lets continue to believe and hope for the best.

SM엔터테인먼트, 동방신기 3인 전속계약 효력정지 가처분신청 확인!

에스엠엔터테인먼트가 동방신기 멤버인 김재중, 김준수, 박유천의 전속계약 효력정지 가처분 신청의 건이 접수됐음을 확인했다고 3일 공시했다.

에스엠은 곧 변호인을 선임, 적극적으로 대처해 나갈 것이라고 밝혔다.

I don't have the full translation of that article yet but according to one member @soompi, "An injuction is like, a remedy...in the form of a court order. It means that they may not be required to do things as strictly stated in their contracts. if sme fails to comply to this court order, they may be the ones paying tvxq damages."

From various discussions at soompi, it seemed as if SM has gotten themselves a lawyer too and would face the disposition case against them. And base from that article above, I think the court only gave a provisional injunction meaning, this case is going to go under trial anytime soon.

Though JaeChunSu already expressed their stand against the disbandment issues, many are still apprehensive about the ongoing clash between them and SM management. All we can do is wait and still hope for the best, not only for them but to all the artists who would be benefiting from this cause in the long run.

After waiting for like 48 years in apprehension, finally an official statement from Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu.

TVXQ's Xiah Junsu (Kim Junsu), YoungWoong Jaejoong (Kim Jaejoong), and Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun), who filed for a Exclusive Contract Validity Suspension and Provisional Disposition Request against SM Entertainment on July 31st, have finally released their official statement.

The three revealed today that, "For the past five years, the agency has been controlling everything and because of everything we have gone through, we are so worn out mentally and physically."

Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoon, and Park Yoochun debuted in group TVXQ in the early months of 2004 and have been, with the order of SM, traveling back and forth from Korea, Japan and China. They have been completing their schedules by sleeping only 3~4 hours every night every single day except for one week of the year. Because of this, the three members' health has been affected greatly and the amount of stress and mental weariness they received was huge. However, the more SM got TVXQ involved in foreign activities, the more tiring and almost impossible the activities became. The three members finally began to feel like they were no longer SM artistes who were striving to reach their dreams, but mere tools for the agency to get money.But the three still wish to continue with their activities as a singer according to their own visions.

#2 The exclusive contract that was set for 13 years is in fact a 'slave contract'

When they talk of the exclusive contract, they refer to their contract that lasts 13 years. However, when they add the years they will serve in the military, the period will extend to at least 15 years which would mean that they would have to be celebrities under SM's rule for at least ten more years before they could even consider retiring. If they were to cancel their contract before the 13 years were over, they would have to pay a fine that was thrice the amount of all the investments made and twice the amount of how much they earned. As this amount would add up to tens of millions of dollars if they were to cancel their contract, they had no other choice but to stay at SM under the same conditions they are suffering because of right now.

#3 The members did not receive as much as they should have for their hard work

Just because they were tied to such a contract, doesn't mean they received fair treatment from SM for their hard work. They received no money for the contract, and when the division of income is seen for their albums, their contract states that each member can receive 1000,000 won only if they sell more than 500,000 copies of their album. If they do not reach 500,000 copies, they do not receive a single won from the income earned from the album This clause was altered on 2009.2.6 but even after the alteration, the members only receive around 0.4~1% each from the album sales.

#4 The members have tried numerous times to fix the contract, but SM did not listen to their pleas.

Therefore, the three members repeatedly asked for a suspension of their exclusive contract so they could follow their own visions of being a singer, but SM tried to move the spotlight towards the three's cosmetic company, which has nothing to do with this trial. So the three people believed that the least they could do was have the two sides talk and reach a compromise that both sides would agree on and even offered to find a proper place to do so, but not only did SM ignore this, their past and current attitude made it almost impossible for there to be any talks with SM. There was no hope for any talks to happen with the agency and that is why the three members decided to file this lawsuit.

#5 The investment in the cosmetic company was something they did outside of their activities as a celebrity, it has nothing to do with this lawsuit. The focus point is the unlawfulness of the exclusive contract.

SM revealed in their official statement that the three members were filing this lawsuit because of problems that arose because of the cosmetic company. However, the members' investment in the cosmetic company has nothing to do with this lawsuit. The company SM is referring to is the Chinese branch of the company that the three members invested in, and this was purely a personal investment that had nothing to do with their activities as celebrities. No one can say that TVXQ should lose everything they have worked so hard for until now just because of an investment of $1 million in a cosmetic company that is opening in China; that is ridiculous to even consider. The core of what the members see as a problem is the unlawfulness of the exclusive contract. SM must stop trying to move the spotlight to the cosmetic company that has nothing to do with the case.

#6 None of the members want to disband, all they want is to escape from the tirades of their contract.

They realized that many fans feared that a disbandment would arise from this lawsuit. However, this lawsuit should never be linked to the possible disbandment of the group. Only the three members are involved in this process because of a difference in opinion of a method of approach between the members, but there are no strains whatsoever between the members and they all wish to keep their promise to their fans and stay together. If they had even a small chance to fix the unlawful clauses in their contract and pursue their music careers in the way they wanted, they were willing to go through with this process with only the firm belief that all five of them would be able to stand on one stage together in front of their fans even after this ordeal.

#7 They take this as a step to become more mature

The three members are extremely sorry for frightening the fans who care so much about TVXQ with this lawsuit, but they believe this is a step towards a bigger dream. They promise that they will be able to come out of this situation as better people and a better group if they receive support from their fans.

August greeted me with much worry over the ongoing provisional disposition filed by the three members - Yoochun, Junsu and Jaejoong - regarding the suspension of their exclusive contracts. From issues of disbandment, chaos among the DBSK members among all others, I know that Cassies all over the world are worried sick as to how this particular hurdle in our life would end.

I've read over several forums that we would know TODAY what the boys' decisions are. I just hope that everything would be back as before. I support them in their endeavors, all of Cassies are but until I hear the reassurance from them, the worry wouldn't go away. As Yoochunie always say, "Always keep the faith". And we will.

There are some really moving projects done by Cassies to reassure other Cassies about this ongoing issue between DBSK members and SM Ent. And these have made me teary-eyed, feeling what others feel and knowing how hard it is for all of us to see the boys going through all this. A big hug to all the Cassies who reached out and touched our hearts as well with their love and support for the band we love and going to love forever..

we are on a slump recently and it is even hard to make a post. i just got no time at all. waaaah... the dilemma of a young professional.

tiny's bday passed and she demanded a post but i couldn't do it. i have lots to do in a very hectic schedule. i couldn't even dare to open the blog. but after finally having the courage to touch anything asian and maybe loose all the very short spare time i have, i found out that news is spreading about our dbsk boys. a lawsuit was filed by jaejoong, junsu, and yoochun against sm entertainment. apparently, it has something to do with their contracts. i'm not sure with the details so i'll leave this up to my fellow moderators in here. (*pokes at shiira and tiny*).

now this entry is about the new mv of "stand by u" titled sweet room last love version or just simply sweet room version. it cannot be found in any gp sharing sites. hmmm... and it was rated 18+ by the uploader. hmmm... this got me interested. i saw the video and then i knew why. intense and steamy, changmin loved this for sure.

Changmin's lead role in Paradise Ranch

After their continued success streak on Japan soil -starting with the Tokyo Dome concert, high sales of Stand by U,Oricon Charts etc - the boys are finally starting to branch out from their otherwise comfort zone of doing things together. First up was Yoochun and Jaejoong duo on their single Colors~Melody and Harmony and next to step up was U-Know, trying his luck in acting with his new drama "Heading to the Ground". And just recently, it seems that our magnae is starting to try out his luck too in acting when he was chosen as the lead role for the drama "Paradise Ranch".

The member of popular group TVXQ, Choikang Changmin (21) was selected as leading role of a new drama “Paradise Ranch”.

A joint production of publisher Samhwa Networks and TVXQ’s agency SM Entertainment, “Paradise Ranch” has announced Changmin as one of the cast.

“Paradise Ranch”: script writer by Jang Hyeon-joo known from “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince” and “Into The Sun” and co-writer Seo Hui-jung, is starting its shooting activities next month in Jejudo island.

From Samhwa Networks: “It’s a bright, cheerful story with beautiful background music to create a masterpiece melodrama. “Paradise Ranch” will start its local broadcast at the end of this year and go through Japan and also around Southeast Asia”.

And there's an ongoing rumor too that due to "solo" activities by the other members, it seems that Junsu would be doing his share too and would be launching a solo album. Hwaiting DBSK!

Frankly, after hearing all this, I did not feel the usual apprehension that accompanies these so-called "solo" activities. I think its hightime for them to expand their horizon and do other things besides singing. It would ensure longevity in the industry and would also enable them to train themselves aside from singing. I know that rumor of them "disbanding" would probably heighten with Changmin now on a lead role as well, but I guess, to each his own. I would rather not think of disbandment issues cause I'm a close-minded person when it comes to them and I stick to the image of them together on stage. LOL

Anyways, hwaiting to everyone for their endeavors especially to my Minnie. Surprised me bigtime, baby. *grins
