when i first heard the song, yeah it was nice... when i saw the MV, that was funny... when i heard the remix, this is interesting... and guess what, now i'm addicted. wahahahha...

dbsk or shall we say tohoshinki(since this is a jpop) released a new single yesterday, april 22. the single contains the much anticipated opening and closing theme of one piece; animes surely know how to choose the songs. wahihihi... the single has soared to #1 in the oricon chart for its first day. すごい!!! and it is still soaring high... soaring high just like what the song is saying...

remioromen with "konayuki"

remioromen is a japanese group formed in december of 2000. if you are asking what remioromen means, the name was a result of word play and has no real significance at all. let us name the group below:

• Ryota Fujimaki (藤巻亮太) is vocalist and plays guitar.
  
• Keisuke Maeda (前田啓介) plays bass guitar.
  
• Osamu Jinguuji (神宮司治) plays drums.

the song "konayuki" is an old song released in november of 2005 and was featured in the drama 1 litre of tears. and according to some authors of this blog, watching this drama will make you shed a liter of tears. if the drama has that reputation, then same goes with "konayuki".

utada hikaru with "prisoner of love"

heard this song as an OST of the japanese drama last friends, "prisoner of love" has become one of my favorites since then. it certainly did a great job in setting the feel of the drama. this became one of the reasons why i watched that drama. :D

utada herself wrote both the lyrics and the music of the song. this for me is one of her masterpieces. the song was released sometime last year.

I'm Going To Love - Park Hye Kyung

If you noticed most of the songs I am sharing on our blog are sad ones (heartbreak songs!). I was looking through my files to find for a song to post that's not a sad one. Then I browsed through the folder of my Jenny Juno OST -- and I found the perfect song to share on the blog. It's a very upbeat one and I remember that the reason for my downloading the OST was because of this song.

For those who are not familiar with Jenny Juno, its a Korean movie about a teenage girl who got pregnant. The story sounds familiar right -- even the title. I'm sure you're thinking about the movie Juno. But long before Juno hit the movie screens and impressed us with the storyline, Korea had their own version of a teenage pregnancy movie. The song I am posting, I'm Going to Love (Saranghalgeoya) is the OST of the movie. It was sung by Park Hye Kyung (the artist who made the Korean version of Lemon Tree).This is an upbeat song -- very fresh and makes you want to fall in love, and that's exactly why i like it.
