As weird as it may sound to the foreign fans, Davichi = Doing everything together' Through their music, the girls want to face the world together as one, hence we have the name Davichi.

Who are Davichi?

Making headlines even before their official debut, Davichi presented their first album Amaranth. This R&B female duo formed by Lee HaeRi and Kang MinKyung caused an immediate media sensation with the music video of their titular song Miwuhdo Saranghanikka "Love You Even Though I Hate You". The MV stars A-list actress Lee MiYeon and pop queen Lee Hyori whose provocative image transformation shocked many K-pop fans. Top-rated MV director Cha EunTek took inspiration from the Hollywood movie Thelma And Louise to reel out a road movie that complements the ballad written by Ryu JaeHyun of Vibe. Highlighting Lee's silvery vocals and Kang's huskiness, their debut cut boasts an elaborate line-up of top composers like Park Keun Tae, Cho Young Soo, Kim Do Hoon, and Park Hae Woon. While demonstrating the duo's immense singing potentials, Davichi's well-crafted album also distinguishes the duo from the massive pool of K-pop newcomers.
